તા. 29 Nov. 2018 માં મારું પ્રૉસ્ટેટનું ઓપરેશન કરવામાં આવ્યું, ત્યારે મને પ્રૉસ્ટેટ કેન્સર અંગે જાણકારી થઇ. ત્યારબાદ એલોપેથીની દવાઓ લગભગ 2 વર્ષ સુધી ચાલુ રહી. ઘણી વખત શરીરમાં તથા હાથમાં દુખાવો થતો, તેને માટે એલોપેથીના ડૉક્ટર મને કૅલશિયમની ગોળીઓ, ઈન્જેકશન તેમજ કિમોથેરાપી લેવા માટે આગ્રહ કરતા. પરંતુ મારું મન મક્કમ હતું તેથી મેં કિમોથેરપી લેવાની ના પાડી. હું કિમોથેરાપીની આડઅસરથી વાકેફ હતો. આ કૅન્સર રોગ હાડકામાં થોડો ઘણો ફેલાયેલો હતો તેથી એલોપેથીના ડૉક્ટરે મને કેટલાક ટેસ્ટ કરવા જણાવ્યું હતું કે જેનો ખર્ચ હજારો રૂપિયામાં હતો. પરંતુ મેં એ બધી સલાહો નકારી કાઢી. ત્યારબાદ હું આણંદના હોમીયોપેથીક ડૉક્ટર અંકુર શર્મા સાહેબના સંપર્ક માં આવ્યો કે જેઓ ચોથા સ્ટેજ સુધીના વિવિધ પ્રકારના કૅન્સર મટાડી આપે છે. મને એ પણ જાણવા મળ્યું હતું કે તેમની ટ્રીટમેન્ટથી ઘણા દૂર દૂરથી આવેલા દર્દીઓ પણ સાજા થઈ ગયેલા છે. તેથી મેં સાહેબની હોમીયોપેથી ટ્રીટમેન્ટ ચાલુ કરવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો. ઘણા લોકો એવુ માને છે કે હોમીયોપેથીની દવાઓ સમય લેનારી અને ફાયદો ન આપનારી હોય છે. મારો જાત અનુભવ એ બધી માન્યતાઓને નકારે છે. આ ટ્રીટમેન્ટ દરમ્યાન જયારે મને ડૉક્ટરે સલાહ આપી ત્યારે મેં CAT-PT ટેસ્ટ કરાવ્યો અને તે નોર્મલ આવ્યો હતો અને ડૉક્ટરે મને અભિનંદન આપતા કેન્સરમુક્ત છો એમ જણાવ્યું. ડૉક્ટર અંકુર શર્મા સ્વભાવે ખુબજ નમ્ર અને સાલસ છે તેમજ દર્દીને સાચી સમજણ આપી ટ્રીટમેન્ટ કરે છે. જો ધીરજ અને નિયમિતતાથી હોમીયોપેથી દવા લેવામાં આવે તો દર્દી સ્વસ્થ જીવન પ્રાપ્ત કરી શકે છે.
